If your group chats look like our group chats, you are spending tons of time talking about the upcoming primary election. But if you somehow managed to avoid the topic, here’s a reminder: we are THREE WEEKS AWAY from the gubernatorial primary in NJ!
The Primary Election is June 10!
GET TO THE POLLS AND GET YOUR BALLOT IN. BRING YOUR SISTER, YOUR NEIGHBOR, YOUR BEST FRIEND FROM PICKLEBALL. CALL THEM! MESSAGE THEM! SEND A CARRIER PIGEON! MAKE A PLAN!
It has always been NJ 11th for Change’s position that we do not endorse in the primary. While that policy remains in place, we want to take a moment to thank the six candidates who are vying to be the Democratic candidate. Thank you. New Jersey is lucky to have such dedicated civil servants who are willing to fight for the opportunity to serve us and we wish them all luck.
In these final weeks before the primary, we encourage you to get out there and knock some doors and make some calls for your candidate. We know politics can bring out a lot of big feelings but come June 11, we are all on the same team.
Speaking of coming together after the primary, got any plans on June 14th? You do now.
First up, a PARTY.
Join your NJ 11th for Change friends on Saturday June 7th starting at 5:00 PM for a Sign Making/ Watch Party. We will provide some art supplies, snacks and drinks. Bring your creativity and any supplies you can to make signs for the NO KINGS Rally on June 14.
On June 7 at 7:00 PM, CNN will broadcast George Clooney’s Good Night & Good Luck straight from Broadway. Weather permitting, we will watch it together outdoors (we’ll watch it if it rains too but space will be limited). Feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chair, a potluck dish, beer, wine, soda. Next, the REUNION!
Morristown! Where NJ 11th for Change began! Where DEMOCRACY began TBH. It gives us all the feels. Let's meet up before the NO KINGS rally at 30 Schuyler Place, Rodney's old office, for a quick reunion and photo. We'll bring new swag, our banner, and extra signs. We will march from 30 Schuyler to 200 South Street at 10:20 AM and join the NO KINGS Rally starting at 11:00 AM. It is a 0.8 mile walk and should take about 20 minutes. The main event! NO KINGS!
NJ 11th for Change is joining our friends the Morris County Dems and Planned Parenthood Action Fund of NJ for a NO KINGS Rally at 200 South Street, Morristown on Saturday, June 14th at 11AM, . Bring your signs, energy, and voice to remind DJT that in our America, in our New Jersey, we say NO KINGS! Sign up HERE.

Become a Poll Worker!
New Jersey needs citizens to work at polling stations on days when voting takes place in your community. This applies to early voting days and Election day. You must be at least 16 and registered to vote in the county where you apply.
