The Special General Election for New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District is almost here. This election will fill the vacancy left when Representative Mikie Sherrill was elected Governor. The time to act is now. Make sure your voting plan is in place for THURSDAY, April 16, 2026.
It is ESSENTIAL that we send a Democrat to Washington to fill this seat. A fighter who will stand up to Trump and represent everyone in our district. With razor-thin margins in the House, we need to elect Analilia Mejia to be on our side against Trump, against Mike Johnson, against Vance, and against all the daily lawlessness we see from this administration.
It is critical that NJ 11th is still represented by someone who reflects our district and will fight for fairness and democracy in DC. We are confident that Analilia will be a transparent, responsive and accountable advocate for all people of New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District.

Inspiration from Hungary: The Power of Turnout
We can thank the voters of Hungary for a moment of sheer, inspirational joy to start off the week! After years of dogged resistance, they raised their collective voice and brought about a stunning change of government, handing a decisive defeat to Trump ally Viktor Orbán. This dramatic shift was achieved with a turnout of over two-thirds (2/3) of all registered voters.
This is the very essence of how change happens—putting in the work, then dramatic transformation when a critical mass of people use their voices at the ballot box.
Let’s take a moment to savor the incredible, joyful moments as Hungarians celebrated their amazing victory singing “WE ARE The CHAMPIONS!”
