Polling Place Locations
for Essex, Morris, Passaic, and Sussex Counties, NJ
for the 2020 General Election
While the 2020 general election will be primarily vote-by-mail, there WILL be polling places open.
There will be fewer of them than usual because of COVID-related issues, and they may not be in their usual locations.
Each voter will be assigned to a specific polling place. By October 23, all county clerks must send voters instructions about which polling place to use. If you do not receive these instructions, contact your county clerk or check this link:

USING THE ADDRESS WHERE YOU ARE REGISTERED
PLEASE REMEMBER: At your polling place,
- You may hand-deliver your own marked, sealed mail-in ballot.
(You may NOT deliver someone else's mail-in ballot at a polling place, and no one else may deliver yours.) - You may vote in person by filling out a paper "provisional ballot," which the poll workers will provide.
- Regular voting machines, like those we have used in past years, will NOT be available.
- If you have a disability and cannot fill out a provisional ballot, there will be an ADA-compliant voting machine you may use.
The easiest way to find your polling place is using the link in RED above, to search by your street address. Below are other options for finding your polling place. Each county releases information about polling places in its own format. We will share the information for each county using a format that coordinates with that county's website.
