Today, Monday, Nov. 3, is Election Hero Day.
Yup. It’s a national celebration which honors the people who keep our elections secure and protect our democracy. We know that as Governor, Mikie will stand up and work for us and for our democracy.
You know who else knows that? This guy. Were you in Newark to hear President Obama on Saturday? Team Nutley got to greet both Mikie and Barack!
We also heard Newark mayor Ras Baraka say ‘we can’t go back with Jack!’ Baraka added, “I’m in this to the end.”

You all know what to do. We have today and tomorrow to put Mikie Sherrill in the NJ governor’s seat. Remember that it’s the MOST powerful governorship in the entire nation. We can’t afford to be complacent.
We love this quote from our friend Kellie Doucette in the New York Times:
"(Mikie would) say, 'We're just going to win them over with ruthless competence'... We couldn’t expect to just show up and have everybody love us. We had to show that we were going to work for them."
Let’s work together for her these next two days! Get on the doors, get on the phones. We have 36 hours. Every one of us can find 36 people and help them make their voting plans!

On Election Day, we'll be watching numbers obsessively. And if we see towns with low turnout, we know just what to do: knock doors in those towns, and knock them hard! This will require fast response, and a nimble, "have MiniVan, will travel" team of canvassers.
