This week’s featured canvass is Saturday, September 28th at 3 pm in Morris County. We will be mobilizing the CD-11 grassroots behind Sue Altman to flip CD-07. The canvass launches from Hanover into CD-07, and features special guest Andy Kim! We’ll be there too, with swag and snacks to fuel you while you knock doors!

Speaking of canvassing shifts, LOOK AT OUR KID CANVASSERS! We had the best time launching this canvass in Bloomfield.
The pre-canvass launch had it all – goldfish crackers and fruit snacks, face painting (yes, a few adults got on that line lol), sign making, voting wands, stickers. The energy was off the charts!
And then, the kids and their families collected their turfs and knocked doors! SO many doors! They were enthusiastic and relentless.

"My 5 year old and 3 year old were big fans of the wide variety of doorbells and learned how to position their “vote!" signs at doorbell cameras such that we were too adorable to ignore. Lots of enthusiastic friendly faces answering doors!"

"When I asked if we could count on her support for democrats she made a face and then said well I’m new to the area so I don’t know a lot about the people here. So we talked to her about Mikie and Andy and why we support them, gave her some literature and showed her where to check her polling place and make sure she was registered."
"We had a lovely chat with a woman new to Bloomfield and undecided while her two giant Rottweilers were barking their heads off at us . I asked Helen (age 2) what her favorite part was and she said 'meeting the dogs.’"
