NJ 11th for Change is proud to endorse Brendan Gill, running for Essex Freeholder at Large (County Commissioner).

A Freeholder since 2011 and the Board of Freeholders president since 2018, Gill is a New Jersey Democratic Party power player: He managed campaigns for both Gov. Phil Murphy and Sen. Cory Booker, and chairs the Democratic Committee of Montclair, his hometown. Gill told us that balancing Covid-19 economic relief with the county’s and state’s fiscal health is one of the most critical challenges he will face if re-elected; he also pledges to work to curb gun violence, protect our open spaces, and, critically, “to protect our democracy by ensuring we have open and fair elections.”
