    Fridays with Frelinghuysen

Join fellow District 11 constituents for #FridayswithFrelinghuysen, a weekly gathering at Congressman Frelinghuysen's Morristown office.

This Friday, we will be at Frelinghuysen's office at 30 Schuyler Place, Morristown from 11AM-2 PM. Please join us!

Start at 11 Washington Street first to meet other volunteers and sign in. Small groups will go into the office to speak with the staffers and ask their questions. We'll provide suggested talking points based on the votes and events of the past week.

Whether you speak from the heart or bring hard-hitting facts, you deserve a hearing from your elected official. But be respectful of the staff’s time, and that of your fellow constituents who are waiting. Many Fridayers find it helpful to focus on one or two current issues.

    • If you are addressing a Congressman’s vote or challenging his position on the issues, a personal story makes a difference.
    • Leave a letter at the end of your visit; the staff must log and respond to all letters.
    • Small tokens of appreciation for the staff (i.e., cookies) are fine if they are homemade and/or under $10 in value. A thank-you and a polite tone at all times are a must.

Come for five minutes or stay for an hour. The more of us who show up each Friday, the better.
