Many Fridayers find it helpful to focus on one or two current issues.· If you are addressing a Congressman’s vote or challenging his position on the issues, a personal story makes a difference.· Leave a letter at the end of your visit; the staff must log and respond to all letters.· Small tokens of appreciation for the staff (i.e., cookies) are fine if they are homemade and/or under $10 in value.
