    Wayne Wednesdays with Rodney

    Wayne Wednesdays

Join fellow District 11 constituents – especially those from Wayne and its surrounding communities – for #WayneWednesdays, a weekly gathering at Representative Frelinghuysen’s Wayne office.

This Wednesday, we will be at the Congressman’s offices at 475 Valley Road, Wayne from 10:45 AM – 1 PM. Please join us!

We meet at 10:45 AM in front of the Wayne Municipal Building, where the Congressman’s offices are located. (Note: The Wayne Municipal Building, 475 Valley Road, is right next to and to the left of Wayne Valley High School.) When you arrive, please remember to sign in, meet all of your District 11 neighbors, and then join us for our weekly photo-op at 11 AM. After that, small groups of 4-6 will go into the office to speak with the staffers and ask their questions. We’ll provide suggested talking points based on the votes and events of the past week.

Whether you speak from the heart or bring hard-hitting facts, you deserve a hearing from your elected official. But be respectful of the staff’s time, and that of your fellow constituents who are waiting. Many “Wayne Wednesdayers” find it helpful to focus on one or two current issues.

    • If you are addressing a Congressman’s vote or challenging his position on the issues, a personal story makes a difference.
    • Leave a letter at the end of your visit. The staff must log and respond to all letters. You can bring one with you or write a short one there.

Come for five minutes or stay for an hour. The more of us who show up each Wednesday, the better!
