The White House and Attorney General Jeff Sessions have created and implemented a policy of separating all undocumented adults and children at the border. Already more than 2,000 children as young as nursing babies have been separated from their parents and placed in detention centers all unequipped to deal with the emotional and physical needs of children in such traumatic circumstances.

The Administration has said explicitly they are using this tortuous cruelty towards children and parents as a "deterrent." Many attempted suicides by children and parents are documented and one father was tragically successful in ending his life when his toddler was taken from him.

The horror is immeasurable and we ALL all residents, all elected officials and all candidates must stand with each other and speak in full voice against this terror until it is over.

The policy has been condemned by the medical community including American Psychological Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the United Nations, and dozens of religious organizations including U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism.

Ask each one of your representatives from your town council to your senator to pressure the Administration to cease immediately.
