NJ 11th for Change is proud to endorse Cory Booker, seeking his second full term as U.S. Senator from New Jersey. 

Booker vows to continue his ardent pursuit of criminal justice reform, healthcare reform, and innovative remedies for economic inequality. Legislation he introduced proposing a “Baby Bond” program would create a federally backed “American Opportunity Account” for every child born in the U.S., funded on a sliding scale based on need, and create a nest-egg that can be accessed as of the child’s 18th birthday. His landmark Environmental Justice Act strengthens legal protections against environmental injustice for communities of color, low-income communities, and indigenous communities. Throughout his long career in public life, Booker has lived this quote from his Facebook page (February 2013): “Leadership is not a position or a title, it is action and example.” Booker serves on several Senate committees and is the ranking member on the Subcommittee on Africa and Global Health Policy of the Committee on Foreign Relations.
